The final moments of Nick Davi, a beloved father and 46-year-old pastor at Grace Point Church, have been documented on tape as part of a wrongful death lawsuit filed by his wife, Sarah.

The court documents released on Wednesday include a screenshot from a video captured by one of the pastor’s children, aged 12 and 15.

These children were present inside their family’s car when their father was tragically shot and killed right in front of them.

This heartbreaking incident took place on December 29, 2023, at Lookout Lodge Lane within the gated Court of Aliante. Sarah also suffered gunshot wounds but miraculously survived.

Joe Junio, a 36-year-old neighbor of the Davis family, has been arrested at the scene and stands accused of murdering Nick.

She is facing charges that include murder, attempted murder, and child abuse.

Below is a video report on the incident and ongoing lawsuit:

After reviewing documents, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reveals that the incident occurred as a result of an ongoing dispute between Junio and Davis over her chickens and dogs.

Junio allegedly harassed the family for weeks, engaging in various acts such as throwing feces into their backyard, flooding their home, and making violent threats after Davis reported the issue to the homeowner’s association of their gated community.

During one particular incident, Junio made a threatening gesture towards them and warned them that they were next.

According to Ty Neal, another pastor from Grace Point Church who spoke with FOX 5 Las Vegas, the Davis family was terrorized by Junio to such an extent that they had to leave their home and find alternative accommodations.

The lawsuit also alleges that the Homeowners Association (HOA) informed Junio about these complaints.

Although not explicitly named in the lawsuit, it claims that “the homeowner’s association knew or should have known that Defendant would likely engage in violent actions against deceased and Plaintiff due to an ongoing dispute within the association.”

Furthermore, it is highlighted in the lawsuit that Junio did not possess a license or permit to carry a firearm.

At present, a GoFundMe campaign for the Davi family has raised $90,249 out of its $100,000 target.
