During a recent interview on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Missouri Senator Josh Hawley made a shocking revelation about the assassination attempt on former President Trump in July.
Hawley disclosed that whistleblowers had provided information about the lead site agent of the Secret Service at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally where the attempt took place.
This disclosure raises serious concerns about the Secret Service’s management of the event.
Hawley did not mince words, criticizing the lead site agent as lacking experience, being inept, and, in his opinion, completely incompetent.
🚨 JUST IN: A Secret Service whistleblower has told Sen. @HawleyMO the lead agent at the Butler Trump rally was NOT enforcing normal security protocols nor checking IDs
Hawley described it as a “free-for-all,” and that agent has NOT been fired

“The site agent, the lead agent, was known to the Trump campaign to be inexperienced, to be ineffectual, to be, frankly, incompetent at their job. I’m also told by whistleblowers that on that day, she was not enforcing the normal security protocols. She was not checking people’s IDs. She did not use Secret Service agents. Most of the agents there that day were not Secret Service agents. They were Homeland Security agents.” – Josh Hawley
Hawley stressed the critical nature of the situation, stating, “Whistleblowers from the Secret Service are stepping forward because they are shocked by the leadership’s actions. They are incredulous that the Secret Service is failing to address the corruption.”
After his public statement, Hawley dispatched a strongly worded letter to Ronald L. Rowe, the acting director of the Secret Service.
In this letter, Hawley called for accountability and openness in relation to the lead site agent’s conduct and the agency’s handling of the assassination attempt.
🚨🚨 NEW – Whistleblowers tell me the lead site agent in charge of the Butler rally was known to be inexperienced, ineffective and not up to the job – and on the day failed to implement basic security protocols – yet this person is STILL on active duty. Why? 👇 pic.twitter.com/EhfUSCvnJ0

Hawley called for the immediate suspension of the lead site agent pending a thorough investigation.
