St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell has decided to end his Senate race against the popular Josh Hawley and instead will try to unseat Cori Bush of the Hamas Party.
I don’t blame him because his odds of winning are better. He has come out in support of Israel, which definitely separates these two candidates as well as Bush’s push to defund the police. But, it is St. Louis so we can’t depend on people opposing Bush.
These two candidates will face off for the Democratic nomination, with the winner who is probably the winner in the general election.
Bell said in a statement:
“Over the last several weeks, as I’ve campaigned around the state, I’ve heard one refrain from Democrats above all else: yes, we need you in Washington, but St. Louis needs you in the House of Representatives.”

“So, after thoughtful consideration and consultation with respected and committed community and political leaders, I am formally withdrawing as a candidate for the U.S. Senate, and announcing my candidacy for the Democratic nomination to US House of Representatives for Missouri’s First Congressional District.”
Bell claims that the Defund the Police movement that Bush leads has hurt the Democrats. It has also caused crime to skyrocket and even in cities where they reverse course, they find it difficult to find officers who are willing to work for them, knowing the cities could reverse agaqin and cost them their jobs.
Bell continues:
“Understanding this unique place that we are with the world literally on fire. I think that we need to make certain that we are providing that effective leadership, not only in our district but in D.C. and on the world stage.”
Bell, who was elected as St. Louis County prosecuting attorney in 2018, announced in June that he was running against Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO). Asked on Monday if he planned to endorse another candidate in the Senate race, Bell said he had not considered it yet but noted there were “viable” competitors against Hawley still in the contest.
On his campaign website, Bell is described as being “committed to strengthening our economy by focusing on workers and job and skills training, lowering health insurance and prescription drug costs, reinvesting in rural communities, standing up for seniors, and protecting our planet by fighting climate change.”
St. Louis County Prosecutor Westley Bell has decided to abandon his run for the U.S. Senate and will instead challenge incumbent U.S. Rep. Cori Bush in the Democratic primary.
Bell, who shocked the Missouri political establishment in 2018 by defeating a seven-term incumbent to become St. Louis County prosecutor, announced his decision to challenge his fellow Democrat for the St. Louis-based seat on Monday.
“..over the last several weeks, as I’ve campaigned around the state, I’ve heard one refrain from Democrats above all else: Yes, we need you in Washington, but St. Louis needs you in the House of Representatives,” Bell said in a statement announcing his decision.
By jumping into the 1st Congressional District Democratic primary, Bell is setting up a showdown with someone who, like him, emerged on the political scene in the wake of the 2014 Ferguson protests.
Bush lost her initial run for Congress in 2018, then rebounded two years later to defeat 10-term incumbent William Lacy Clay in the heavily Democratic district.
” They ” will vote the same way that they always do in every other election. Moronic politicians are elected and reelected by moronic voters. Then they complain and blame someone else for their problems.

And stated here that even if they reverse course in these metropolitan areas now, it’s hard to find police officers willing to work in them!
I say “what we got here is a failure to communicate” for too damned long and now the consequence is a “slow cook planned coup d’état” by such “deeply diabolical characters as Soros!”
