Judge weighing Fani Willis disqualification previously donated to her campaign
The judge in Georgia presiding over Donald Trump's criminal trial for election interference made a $150 donation to Fani Willis, the prosecutor involved in the case, during her campaign for district attorney.
Judge Scott McAfee is currently considering whether Willis should be recused due to conflicts of interest stemming from her relationship with a prosecutor she appointed.
McAfee's support of Willis has raised concerns about his ability to impartially adjudicate the matter.
Despite the donation being of minimal value, Atlanta criminal defense lawyer Philip Holloway believes it should have been disclosed to the defense.
