A new Gallup poll, typically considered to lean liberal, has revealed that Republicans are leading in party identification in the third quarter of this year—a development that hasn’t occurred since 1992.

The NYT and Emerson polls showed Trump leading in key swing states, while the Quinnipiac poll, which focused on the national vote, had Trump ahead by one point with likely voters.
