But Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn’t believe that as she attempts to censure Rashida Tlaib again but with one major difference. The main change is that she is changing the word insurrection and replacing it with “illegal occupation” in relation to the events of October 18th when Tlaib incited a crowd of anti-Semites to infiltrate the Capitol and interfere with Congressional business.
You might think that she is taking a step back from insurrection and you would be right, so why did she do that? The answer is quite simple. The J6 political prisoners were charged with illegal occupation. To vote against the measure now, you are saying many of the J6 prisoners were unlawfully convicted and sentenced. This could be complicated for Democrats who have celebrated the long sentences meted out unfairly to the J6 protesters.
