In a recent episode of his show, Dan Bongino expressed grave reservations about the insufficient security precautions at a recent political gathering, emphasizing the significant jeopardy faced by President Trump and other public figures.
Bongino decried the absence of a proficient Secret Service unit and the appointment of an interim director to oversee security.
“This is a large outdoor rally in an open field with massive line of sight issues,” Bongino began.
“The advanced Secret Service team should have been out there a minimum of eight hours in advance. How the hell did you miss this guy?”

Bongino expressed concern about the safety of political figures, particularly Donald Trump, as well as Biden and Harris.
He emphasized his worry for their well-being and stated that he does not want to see anyone get hurt, adding that such concerns are unsettling and not in line with the purpose of his show.
Bongino highlighted a recent promotion within the Secret Service that he finds troubling:
“And then you promote the guy who was running daily operations for protections, to act there for protection to acting director,” he noted.
In a direct appeal to President Trump, Bongino urged for immediate and significant changes.
“I’m asking President Trump as a friend, you get in there. We got to make some massive changes. I’m happy to help. I’ll consult for you. I’ll do whatever you want, but there are massive numbers of people that have to go. You are in real danger with this.”
